How can I get my request approved? |
I requested a new Remittance Advice Remark Code and it was denied
because the message would not apply to a compliant 837. I accept non-compliant
837 submissions today and wish to report information about the non-compliant
fields. How can I get my request approved?
- The text of all new Remittance Advice Remark Codes must support compliant electronic claims. It is expected that non-compliant claims will be identified in a front-end process or in an application process and reported in an appropriate response transaction rather than in the 835 remittance advice. All new requests are evaluated against this criterion.
