How often are revisions to the code list made?
- Revisions are made at committee meetings three times a year. Requests should be submitted through a Web Form displayed by selecting "How do I requst a change?" from this page at least two weeks before the meetings. You can review what has been submitted on the On-Line Conference and post or review comments prior to the committee discussion.
We also recommend that you contact your industry group representative on the committee before submitting a request. These individuals are those who participate in the discussion and vote on any changes, additions or deletions. Check the web to identify your representative. By contacting these individuals, they can assist you in understanding how the codes work, and determine if there is a method or code in place already to accomplish the task you need. The actual updates to the online list lag the meetings by from two weeks to two months depending upon how busy everyone is at the time. Usually, the conference gets updated before the code lists and minutes are posted. |
