What about Deleted codes? |
There are codes that have been deleted. Does that mean that they are deleted for all versions? Is it possible that the code will be used again in the future?
- Once a code is eliminated, it is eliminated from all versions. There is usually an associated statement that another code should be used in the place of the one in question. The committee does not anticipate deleted codes to ever be re-instated. We have a policy to not reuse old numbers for new descriptions.
