• All transmissions must include a properly formatted SE segment. In addition, OnlyConnect™ FirstPass™ checks to see that the values in:
  • SE01 accurately indicate the total number of segments in the transaction set, including the ST and SE segments
  • SE02 is the same as ST02

If the value in SE01 is incorrect, the checking process ends and you will receive the error message:

• Envelope Error: Incorrect Message segment count

If there are other issues with the SE segment, the checking process ends and you will receive the error message:

• Envelope Error: Invalid Transaction Set Trailer
