ASC X12N's Health Care Task Group
The Health Care Task Group (ASC X12N/TG2) oversees the work of multiple workgroups (WGs) in developing standards and industry implementation guides. TG2 assures coordination among the WGs and provides the first level of official voting in approving the standards. The co-chairs represent X12 at the National Uniform Claim Committee , the National Uniform Billing Committee , and HL7 . Each WG specializes in a particular area:

• Work Group 3 - Claim Payments
• Work Group 4 - Enrollments
• Work Group 5 - Claim Status
• Work Group 9 - Patient Information
• Work Group 10 - Health Care Services Review
• Work Group 12 - Interactive Health Care Claims
• Work Group 15 - Provider Information
• Work Group 20 - Insurance Transaction Acknowledgment
