Washington Publishing Company is an active member of ASC X12 and publishes the output from X12 subcommittees.
To support the standards setting efforts of the X12 volunteers, WPC provides an on-line conference system.

- X12C/TG4 - Management Transaction Sets
ASC X12C's Task Group 4 publishes IGs and other documents concerning the transaction sets used for EDI management.
This conference is used by the task group to interact with all reviewers of the IGs, both members and non-X12 members. This conference holds the Public Review comments of an 005010 Technical Report Type 3 for Transaction Set 999 - Implementation Acknowledgment for Health Care Insurance. The comment period begins on November 21, 2005 and ends on December 23, 2005 at 5:00 PM EST.
ASC X12N - Insurance
- Emergency Change Process Comments
ASC X12N Management has invoked the Emergency Change Process. In
order for CMS to name the 4050 ASC X12N 274 (X103) for use in the NPI bulk enumeration and data dissemination process, modifications
must be made to the guide. The modifications are listed in the on-line conference thread. Comments must either be an affirmation or
a declination with explanation of the invocation of the Emergency Change Process. The moderator may still add comments, but public commenting has been cut off.

ASC X12N's Task Group 1 publishes IGs for their segment of the insurance industry. This conference is used by the task group to interact
with all reviewers of the IGs, both members and non-X12 members.
ASC X12N Task Group 2
- General Forums
ASC X12N, Task Group 2, Health Care, oversees the work of multiple workgroups in developing standards and industry implementation guides. This conference includes information important to the task group as a whole.
- Health Care
IG/TR3 Public Review Conferences Are Here ASC X12N's Task Group 2 is responsible for the X12N Implementation Guides (IGs) adopted under HIPAA. This conference is used by the task group to interact with all reviewers of the IGs, both members and non-X12 members. Not all of TG2s work has been adopted under HIPAA and you will find other health care EDI subject matter as well.
- Health Care Claims
ASC X12N's Task Group 2 Work Group 2 is responsible for, among other IGs, the four Health Care Claim IGs: Professional, Institutional, Dental, and Reporting. This conference is used by the task group to interact primarily within the work group while they develop enhancements to the IGs under their control.

ASC X12N's Task Group 2 Work Group 3 is responsible for, among other IGs, the Health Care Claim Payment/Advice IG. This conference is used by the task group to interact primarily within the work group while they develop enhancements to the IGs under their control.
- Insurance Business Process Application Error Codes
ASC X12N's Task Group 2 Work Group 20 is responsible for, among other IGs, the Implementation Guide Reporting IG. This conference is used by the work group to interact primarily within the work group while they develop enhancements to the error codes under their control.
Caucuses This resource allows the Dental Caucus to discuss issues between their meetings at X12 trimester locations.

This group meets primarily on the Sunday of each X12 trimester meeting. This conference is used by the group to interact primarily within the group while they develop enhancements to the code lists under their control.
